		My views on many things might leave some to suppose that I am just a Grumpy Old Man! Why indeed, should you take any notice of what I have to say? What qualifies me to expound views and recommend actions or positions on important issues? In a nutshell, experience. Trial and error. Listening to others of differing nationalities, cultures and religions. I have survived for well over six decades. I lived and worked in different communities and cultures. I’ve travelling extensively. I’ve had several differing career paths. I’ve experienced at first hand several different religious doctrines. I’ve been married and divorced twice. “I live my life as best as I can according to my evolving beliefs. My code of conduct and my behaviour has developed from all that I have experienced and it is the very essence of what I write and do. I created Harfin as a means of sharing my poetry and photographs with others. Over time, that has evolved into other areas of creative writing like short stories, and non-fiction works like my family history book, “The Lives and Times of the Fink Family”. I have developed my photographic skill into digital productions that I call e-paintings, particularly works with with an environmental dimension, so-called green artworks. Whatever I do, is however, founded on my core beliefs My philosophy falls naturally into: Family Community Spirituality
