Margaretha Theresa FINK was the youngest daughter of Peter and Elizabeth was born 3 July 1876, Holloway, Islington 1B 371. She was known as Hettie.
In 1881 she was living with her family at 61 Kiver Rd. Islington. Also living with the family was James Wash, the brother of Elizabeth who was a baker.
In 1891 we find her living with her mother and Mr James Henderson at 16 Henry St. Clerkenwell. Margaret, occupation, packer. Living there too was Lily Henderson, James daughter by his first wife Annie Maria Lowne who died Dec qtr 1884, Islington 1b 170.
On 3 July 1900 Hettie married James Stuart ANDERSON, known as Andy. 1901 census finds the couple at 50 Noel St. Islington (two couples at the same address). Hettie was an art flower maker and Andy was a cabinet makers clerk. Their daughter Grace Agnes (known as Gracie) was born 6 November 1913 They may have had another daughter in 1904
The Anderson family appear to have had many visits with William’s family in Whitstable as there are many photos of them together.
Hettie died 29 March 1928, aged 51 and was buried at Walthamstow cemetery
Andy remarried in 1940 to Beatrice Bennett. She was three years younger than his daughter Grace at age 35. It was a happy but short marriage as James died 8 Aug 1947 age 73 and was buried in Southall New Cemetery.
Beatrice and Gracie came to NZ. in August 1949. With a three year age gap Beatrice must have been like the sibling Gracie never had. Gracie died unmarried 14 November 1975 in Wellington, NZ and Beatrice died 20 Feb. 1992 in a home in Otaki, NZ.
